Recognizing and Understanding Harassment

This course provides a comprehensive overview of workplace sexual harassment, including the types of harassment and how to differentiate them from other types of employment discrimination based on federally protected classes. We’ll examine key milestones in US workplace conduct laws through interactive scenarios and in-depth explanations. We’ll highlight the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) ‘s role in addressing sexual harassment. Additionally, we’ll compare the differences between federally prohibited employment discrimination and harassment and how California employment discrimination and harassment laws differ. We’ll also learn about critical legal structures and ways to identify and report sexual harassment to help foster a respectful and inclusive workplace.
